Karla Brading is a Merthyr based, traditionally published children’s novelist. With a First Class Honours in Creative and Professional Writing, she went on to become a ghost writer for Disney, as well as the author of 3 children’s books, one of which has not only become a school resource to familiarise children with the tragic Aberfan Disaster, but has also been adapted for school productions.
Katherine Price
Crafter
Katherine is our resident Art Attack artist. Katherine loves working with materials such as cardboard and paper to create her beautiful works.
Katherine has been in to 4 schools over the last month and her windows will be popping up soon. We can't wait to see the Harry Potter window.
Helen Absalom

Another artist we have been working with is Helen Absalom, she is a local artist who exhibits her work up and down the country. She is a keen painter of the natural world, creating bold, colourful compositions and raising awareness of the plight of our pollinators with her popular bee themed work.
Through her work, she has been able to pass on creative knowledge and experiences through teaching various painting classes.
Helen has worked with 4 local schools to create 4 lovely Christmas Windows.

The amazing Tee2sugars will be working with 3 schools as part of our Christmas Festival in Merthyr Tydfil.
Professional Graffiti artist Tee2sugars work has been popping up all around the South Wales and further afield.
We can't wait to see the end results dotted around Merthyr Tydfil for Christmas.
Hannah Mcloughlin

My work is a combination of digital design, brush lettering, calligraphy and watercolour painting. I am brand new to the occasion stationery industry, so being able to bring in a variety of art through hand lettering and watercolour painting allows me to constantly explore new imagery and lettering techniques creating unique prints.Through her work, she has been able to pass on creative knowledge and experiences through teaching various painting classes.
